Maple is a hardwood species characterized by being hard-wearing and therefore very suitable for flooring. The uniform grain structure and the natural light colour provide a floor with an elegant look.
Variation grade is the unique name that Junckers have given to their rustic grade products. This grade has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Several small and large knots and fine hairline splits occur. Sapwood occurs to a great extent.
Underfloor heating works to perfection under Junckers solid hardwood floors because, unlike tiles and stones, solid wood is naturally warm and pleasant, whether or not the heating is on.
Each board is assembled from two rows of staves by a glued double dovetail construction. Each board is tongue and grooved on all four sides. This flooring is available in 3700, 1830 and 900mm on request.
