Oak is known for its superior hardness and durability, it is a timeless species used for centuries. Nordic Oak is an elegant and stylish floor with a white toned surface applying Nordic lightness to the floor without hiding the characteristic structure of the oakwood. The neutral appearance of Nordic Oak is created by adding a white tint to the popular White Oak. The beautiful strong graining pattern is visible and demonstrates a subtle look.
Variation grade is the unique name that Junckers have given to their rustic grade products. This grade has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Several small and large knots and fine hairline splits occur. Sapwood occurs to a great extent.
Underfloor heating works to perfection under Junckers solid hardwood floors because, unlike tiles and stones, solid wood is naturally warm and pleasant, whether or not the heating is on.
Each board is assembled from two rows of staves by a glued double dovetail construction. Each board is tongue and grooved on all four sides.
