Black oak was originally a natural product of the forest - yet it was no tree. In former days black oak occurred when an oak trunk had rested a few hundred years in marshland. A natural process turned the wood black. Junckers has recreated the distinct, exclusive expression through a unique full-thickness vacuum dyeing process.
Harmony grade is the unique name that Junckers have given to their natural grade products. This grade has a natural look with more colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Medium-sized knots and fine hairline splits occur to some degree. Sapwood occurs.
The planks are made as one board and provided with a bevelled edge of approximately 0.5mm. Each board is tongue and grooved on all four sides. This product is available in 1500, 1800, 2100 and 2400mm length on request.
