Engineered flooring has a unique construction composed of 3 layers. The top layer is 3.5mm of natural hardwood, while the middle and the bottom layers are made of spruce. Boen Smoked Oak Engineered Flooring ensures a lasting and consistent style with a modern touch and brown colour.
The natural grade has a characteristic natural look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the boards. It is also characterised by some wood knots, hairline splits and some sapwood.
Live natural is a natural surface treatment containing oils such as sunflower, thistle or soya bean as well as naturally occurring waxes (carnauba, candelilla). Deep penetration of the oil into the wood is ensured. All Boen engineered wood flooring is suitable for installation above underfloor heating systems using a vapour barrier between the heating system and the wood floor.
Boen engineered wood floorings can be installed as floating flooring without the need for using glue and nails. Boen offers a unique and exceptionally stable installation system by a combination of the Boen Uniclick System on the long side of the board combined with 5G Boen X-Press Clic System on the short side of the plank. This not only provides easier and faster installation, but it also ensures dimensional stability and no gaps between the board.
