Engineered flooring has a unique construction composed of 3 layers. The top layer is 3.5mm of natural hardwood, while the middle and the bottom layers are made of spruce. Boen Vivo Oak Engineered Flooring ensures a lasting and consistent style with a modern touch and brown colour.
The rustic grade has a characteristic natural look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the boards. It is also characterised by medium-sized wood knots, more hairline splits and some sapwood.
The matt lacquered finish creates a natural look combined with the advantages of an anti-scratch sealing. It makes the surface look "as oiled" and gives the impression of untreated bare boards offering incredibly pleasing underfoot feeling and providing hard-wearing, durable and easy to maintain surface.
All Boen engineered wood flooring is suitable for installation above underfloor heating systems using a vapour barrier between the heating system and the wood floor.
